«West Siberian interregional innovative accelerator of scientific and R&D projects» (ZIMA 21)

About the project

The key purpose of acceleration is to identify promising teams and team leaders capable of ensuring rapid transformation of research ideas/prototypes into innovative products and their further economic implementation in such actively developing regions of the Russian Federation as Tyumen Oblast, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

The initial stage of the acceleration programme (technical selection) has started on March 31, 2021 with the purpose of a preliminary gathering of applications. The following fundamental and applied R&D topics will have the highest priority:

— Biosecurity of humans, plants and animals, including the digital transformation of medical technologies and the digitalization of agriculture

— Development of new technologies in the field of carbon balance control and improvement of environmental control

— The Arctic Region. Resources and environmental quality. Man in the Arctic Region

— Digital transformation of the oil and gas industry

— Advanced solutions in educational technologies (EdTech // EduNet projects)

— Other projects and topics specified in the Strategy of Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation

The acceleration program is completely free for the participants. The teams that have successfully defended their projects at the final stage can apply for the following forms of support:

— Inclusion in the program of the West Siberian REC and partner projects with organizations participating in the REC;

— Winning a grant for the development of a project of level 1 (up to 10 million roubles), level 2 (up to 6 million roubles) and level 3 (up to 3 million roubles).

— Inclusion in the thematic Schools and programs of the Competence Development Centre of the West Siberian REC in 2021 - 2022.
